Production Guidelines

Seed Selection Choose from PT303, PT314 and PT315 hybrids
Planting Sept. 10 – Oct. 5 on well-drained soils
Seeding 2.5 – 3.5 lbs/acre at a depth of 1/2″ to 3/4″ with row spacing at 7.5″ to 20″
Weed & Insect Management Plant into a clean seedbed and control grasses early. Treat for insects per scouting thresholds.
Fertility FALL: Starter Nitrogen + Full application Phosphorus and Potassium
SPRING: Split application of Nitrogen and Sulfur + Boron
Fungicide Two applications of 2-3 MOA early (pre-bolt) and late spring
Harvest Mid-May – Early June at 10% moisture. Desiccants encouraged to ensure harvest timing.
